Join a Group

We see your interest in taking action, adding your voice to “make a difference”. If you are not sure where to begin, it might help to meet with others to explore options (on Zoom or in person). It is a chance to meet new friends. And if a group does not appeal to you, there are lots of little ways to get involved. Contact  ufr.secretary@sasktel.net  for more information.

  • “Action Groups” (e.g., reconciliation study group, anti-racism action, fundraising action group)
  • “People Power Projects” (e.g., social justice projects; letter writing, kindness calls)
  • “Backbone Committees” (membership/communication, program, property)
  • “Sunday Comfort” – be one of those who helps others feel at home.

Become a Member

Becoming a member, is simple. We invite you to sign our membership book or send an email requesting membership to the Fellowship’s secretary at ufr.secretary@sasktel.net.  We are interested to get to know a little about you, what interests you about the Fellowship, and how you would like to be involved.

There are lots of ways to participate:

  • We value your presence. Join us Sundays and at other events.
  • Share your talents with us. We will welcome your ideas and energy.
  • Share your knowledge; we will listen to your thoughts as we explore the way forward together —

Financial donations contribute to the ongoing sustainability of the Fellowship. The amount is determined by you. We are a registered charity as well as a non-profit organization. You will receive a tax receipt for your donations.

We want to make a difference in building for a better tomorrow for you, your family, our Fellowship, and our whole community. We want to help people to reach out and support each other. Get into the act—Join us!

Volunteer with Unitarians!

Belong to a community. Make new friends. Be a volunteer. Impact the vision of “a vibrant, diverse and inclusive home for spiritual exploration and social action.”

Board (membership is required)

The Board provides both operational management and oversight for the Fellowship. The work of this group enables the Fellowship’s vision and safeguards its sustainability. Bring your awareness of community trends to help prepare for the future. Bring your belief in the power of social action to create a better world for all.

Program Committee

The Program Committee creates uplifting Sunday morning experiences with inspiring readings, music, and thought-provoking presentations. Bring your organizing skills and your network of contacts in the community. All are welcome.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee seeks and welcomes newcomers who are looking for a place to belong and to share their skills. Make a few kindness calls to those in need. Exchange ideas about attracting others to join our warm and welcoming Fellowship.

Property Committee

The Property Committee monitors and cares for our historic property. It takes a long-term perspective to maintain the Unitarian Centre and surrounding land for the use of the community. Bring your knowledge and share your skill. We welcome you.

If a committee does not appeal to you, there are many other things you could do to be part of the Unitarian community. Do you like to organize events? Are you a writer? A musician? A website contributor?

Contact ufr.secretary@sasktel.net for a warm welcome and more detail.
