The Maureen Hawley Stage was named in recognition and with thanks for a generous bequest from Maureen and the Hawley family in 2022. The naming honours Maureen, a beloved patron of the arts who helped bring Fringe Theatre to Regina and to this stage. The stage is raised for visibility and allows dramatic entrances from the back or side. A nearby door into a small room enables rapid costume changes. It is an excellent space for theatre, musicians, dance, public speaking and other community events.
The lower hall is an informal space for meetings, workshops, family games, gatherings after events or celebrations. The nearby kitchen enables potlucks, catered refreshments or just a cup of tea. This space can be accessed directly from the side door (3 steps down).
Capacity is 50 seated at tables or 80 standing.
Long tables are available to set out food for potlucks and catered events in the lower hall.
The kitchen contains a fridge, stove, dishwasher & double sink, with enough dishes and cutlery for 50 people. Kettles, coffee pot, some serving dishes and tablecloths are available. The counter and pass-through window are convenient for arranging food.
This is not a commercial kitchen so food may not be prepared here. Please inquire.
